B-SIDE
B-Side is a rock magazine with insider information on recording albums, bands on tour, and all other 'B-side' information on your favorite music artists.
This project encouraged me to build a cohesive brand design, as well as explore spread design and typographic layouts.

CENTER SPREAD
My center spread design was inspired by Heinz Edelmann's
artwork in The Beatles' 1968 animated film, Yellow Submarine.
In this radio interview with Heinz Edelmann, he addresses
the misconception that Peter Max was the illustrator, as well as
production moments and influences for his sequences.

SECOND SPREAD
Another spread design in B-Side focuses on an interview with Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones.
The iconic logo design seen here is my graphic illustration of a sculpture I saw at The Rolling Stones Exhibition in New York City.
