CORONA CARE USA, INC.

I was a founding team member for Corona Care USA, Inc., a non-profit start-up. We launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting widespread need for food assistance. The digital platform connected people to give and receive help, one bag of groceries at a time.

As Creative Director, my responsibilities
included brand design, UX
/UI design, and
front-end development.

Leading up to receiving our 501(c)(3) status, we chose to rename and rebrand our non-profit to The Giving Grape, Inc.

I lead our rebrand with a similar approach as I did for Corona Care USA. After a few months, we finally launched our new design and began new marketing campaigns. Within our array of marketing collateral was this info-graphic. The statistics shown emphasize how much food insecurity increased in the US since entering the pandemic.

 

Soon enough, The Giving Grape grew in size and I soon added Creative Team Lead to my list of responsibilities. As Lead, I would assign, critic, and approve designs by other team members.

After stepping down from my position, The Giving Grape, Inc. continued to serve the nation for a few short months after. The nonprofit is no-longer in operation today, but we are thankful to have helped thousands of people in need!
